Housing Works Cannabis Co., located at 750 Broadway in Manhattan’s East Village, opened to the public at 4:20 p.m.
It is the first dispensary in the state since the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act was signed into law by former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in March 2021.
The 4,400-square-foot dispensary will be open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Individuals must be 21 years or older to enter the facility. Identification will be checked immediately after entering and again when a purchase is being made.

Two different brands of edibles are currently available for purchase at Housing Works Cannabis Co. -- Florist Farms and Aryloom.
Florist Farms THC gummies come in six flavors -- sour watermelon, sour green apple, peach, golden raspberry, strawberry and bedtime blueberry.
Each tin of gummies is $30 before tax and contains 10, 10mg gummies.
The Aryloom gummies, which contain both THC and CBD, are $35 per bag before tax. There are 20 servings per bag and each piece has 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD.
Three flavors of Aryloom gummies are offered: blueberry lavender, apple and grapefruit.
There are three different brands of pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes available for purchase at Housing Works Cannabis Co., and individuals can choose between indica, sativa and hybrid strains.
Back Home Cannabis Company offers a 1g hybrid Space Queen preroll and a 1g indica G-13 preroll for $18 each.
Florist Farms’ prerolls can be purchased in single 1g or a 5-pack of 2.5g for $18 or $44, respectively. Offered strains are La Bomba, Gush Mintz and Banana Runtz sativa, Wedding Cake and RiRi hybrids, and Gush Mintz indica.
Lobo Cannagar offers two indica infused glass-tip blunt options in 2g Venom OG and 2g Blue Dream for $44 each.
It also offers a seven-pack mini half-gram infused .5g joints in hybrid Wedding Cake, Royal Kush, Blue Dream and Venom OG for $50 each.

Aryloom vape pens are available in 1g cartridges for $95 in pineapple, grapefruit, cereal milk, and blueberry, and 1g disposeable vape pens for $45 in cereal milk, pineapple, pink grapefruit and blueberry.
Florist Farms rechargeable .75g vape pen options are $73.20 and come in the hybrid Tropical Runtz, Bubba Kush and Blue Dream.
Non-rechargeable cartridges are $53.40 for .5g and come in indica Bubba Kush, hybrid Blue Dream and hybrid Tropical Runtz. A full gram of Tropical Runtz and Blue Dream are $84.80 each.

Back Home Cannabis Company offers hybrid and indica flower – G-13, Space Queen, and Gorilla Glue – for $40 for 3.5g.
Florist Farms flower can be purchased by the 1/8, or 3.5g, in sativa, hybrid and indica strains Wedding Cake, RiRi, La Bomba, and Gush Mintz for $55 each.
Lobo Cannager offers flower by the 1/8 and 14g for $60 and $130 respectively, in Royal Kush, Blue Dream, Wedding Cake, Venom OG, Purple Punch and Black Diamond OG.
Housing Works Cannabis Co. is currently a cash-only facility; Charles King, CEO of Housing Works, said he hopes to have debit card processors up and running by the first week of 2023. Because cannabis is still illegal at the federal level, the dispensary will be unable to process credit card payments.
King said the dispensary will carry more brands and expand its product offerings by the end of February.
